Wlasnie sobie przeczytlem nowy tekst Hoppego w ktorym pisze wiele ciekwaych rzeczy..ale niestety powtarza rowniez swoje typowe (i wedlug mnie czesto bledne) poglady o imigracji.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/2014/09/hans-hermann-hoppe/smack-down/

Tym razem dodaje nawet takie cos:

“On the other hand, if the immigration pressure is high – as currently in the entire Western, white, heterosexual male dominated world – more restrictive measures may have to be employed for the same purpose of protecting domestic resident owners’ private and common property. There may be identity controls not only at ports of entry, but also at the local level, in order to keep out known criminals and otherwise undesirable riffraff.”

Toz to zwykly demo-totalitaryzm!

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Nevada,_Las_Vegas)
Wiec "troche" mi to smierdzi hipokryzja...

Takie rzeczy wypisuje libertarian realist:

Kto w ogóle wymyslił, że minarchizm to libertarianizm? Ten ich konserwatyzm to zwykła polityka etatystyczna, czyli narzucanie przemocy innym, zamiana autonomicznych jednostek na podjednostki będące częściami składowymi konserwatywnego państwa.

OSTATECZNE ZAORANIE MIGRACYJNEJ TEORII HOPPE'GO

"But of course, then: this is not what the State does. The immigration policies of the States that are confronted with the highest immigration pressure, of the US and Western Europe, have little resemblance with the actions of a trustee. They do not follow the full cost principle. They do not tell the immigrant essentially to “pay up or leave.” To the contrary, they tell him “once in, you can stay and use not just all roads but all sorts of public facilities and services for free or at discounted prices even if you do not pay up.” That is, they subsidize immigrants – or rather: they force domestic taxpayers to subsidize them. In particular, they also subsidize domestic employers who import cheaper foreign workers. Because such employers can externalize part of the total costs associated with their employment – the free use to be made by his foreign employees of all resident public property and facilities – onto other domestic taxpayers."

P.S. Najwyrazniej Hoppe oparl swoja dziwaczna teorie o imigracji z jednego artykulu Rothbarda napisanego na 2 lata przed smiercia, kiedy pewnie juz go meczyla skleroza i inne przypadlosci wieku starczego.

Dobra wyslalem mu przed chwila. Kopia maila ponizej:

Dear Prof Hans-Hermann Hoppe,

At first I’d like to introduce myself: my name is Tomasz ______________ and I’m from Poland. In the beginning I’d like to mention that I’ve been a hard-core anarcho-capitalist for more than 10 years and I’m not writing to you to criticize you from non-libertarian positions. Moreover, I consider myself a right-wing libertarian (just like you) and I really liked your book “Democracy: The God That Failed”, however I have one serious doubt about your theory of immigration stated in aforementioned book, as well as your new article posted on www.lewrockwell.com, called “A Realistic Libertarianism”.

According to your theory the state has the right and duty to restrict immigration. I’d like to mention a few factors that in my opinion show that the state control of immigration is not compatible with libertarian principles:

1) THE MOST IMPORTANT ARGUMENT: I understand that you want to restrict immigration mainly because you believe that the foreigners didn’t pay the taxes for “public” roads, sidewalks, squares and parks. According to your writings people who didn’t pay taxes and use “public property” do something coherently wrong = the trespass against NAP.

However, what’s the difference between citizen avoiding taxes and a foreigner who didn’t pay taxes? If the foreigner who doesn’t pay taxes acts against NAP, it means that any citizen who “cheats” the state on taxes is also a criminal! But according to libertarian principles taxes are not simple fees for usage of “public” places but an extortion so avoiding the payment is definitely not immoral based on natural rights that we both believe in. I’d even say that avoiding taxes is a brave and honorable and useful thing to do as it speeds up the fall of the state. I’m sure that all libertarian heroes like e.g. Karl Hess (a famous taxes evader) would agree with me. It’s not tax evaders (including foreigners) fault that the state exists and occupies all land around everybody’s houses, so why should we punish them by restricting their freedom of movement. If it’s anybody’s fault that the state exists it’s rather the people’s who pay taxes not the ones who don’t!

2) Recently you’ve also written that:

“But of course, then: this is not what the State does.

This argument is similar to the previous one. According to this fragment employers who employ foreigners do something immoral. I can’t agree with you here either. Let’s imagine that there’s a town ruled by a mafia. Mafia bosses decide to force citizens to pay “protection fee” and force them to employ only people who already live in this town (no outsiders). Now imagine somebody who “illegally” employs foreigners and avoids paying “protection fees”. Is he a criminal according to libertarian principles? Of course he’s not. He’s cheating the mafia and thanks to this more money is left for people and less for mafia. You argue that other people who pay extortion money are cheated in this situation, but frankly speaking it’s not the employer of foreigners’ “fault” that he’s smarter and knows how to avoid the mafia and its crooks… So all in all people should focus on destroying mafia not destroying competitors who avoid the paying. The mafia (=the state) is evil, no employers or “illegal” immigrants. (BTW, if the foreigner works “legally” he also pays taxes so there’s no difference between him and the citizen. That way both of them are forced to pay for the “public places”.)

3) You’ve also written:

“On the other hand, if the immigration pressure is high – as currently in the entire Western, white, heterosexual male dominated world – more restrictive measures may have to be employed for the same purpose of protecting domestic resident owners’ private and common property. There may be identity controls not only at ports of entry, but also at the local level, in order to keep out known criminals and otherwise undesirable riffraff.”

I guess it’s obvious that to have identity controls, we would need identity documents, something completely incompatible with libertarianism. Controlling people if there’s no evident proof of criminal activity is against NAP too. And harassing “undesirable riffraff” is very ambiguous. Why should the state decide who is undesirable? According to libertarianism the only people against whom we can use violence are criminals who steal, kill, rape or cheat. Nobody else.

4) Your theory also can’t be used in situations in which immigrant doesn’t use public roads at all, e.g. moves from Mexico to American farmer who has his farm just along the border, moves to a farmer through a land of another farmer based on that farmer’s permission to o across his property or flies there by plane/helicopter. He can also immigrate through a dessert or virgin forest without trespassing any private or “public” property. So why should the state forbid him to travel that way only because of some unrealistic lines on the map drawn by the state crooks?

5) Another fragment from your book: “This means following a policy of utmost discrimination: of strict discrimination in favor of the human qualities of skill, character, and cultural compatibility.” I really don’t know why you argue that the state has the right/duty to select which foreigners are good for employers. What if the employer from the USA wants to hire a Negro, non-English speaking man who was born in Congo and has a long criminal record? Isn’t it the employer’s business who he thinks is suitable for a particular position in his factory?

6) According to your opinion (if understand correctly) most of people wouldn’t like to allow immigrants to come so the state should behave according to their will as it’s the public land’s trustee. But most of people wouldn’t allow people to sell/buy/provide/transport drugs, pornography, prostitutes, gambling or even imported products (in the name of some stupid product patriotism), so the state should forbid it too? But that would be a totalitarian democracy not libertarian freedom!

7) In your books and articles you often say that the monarch is a bit better than a democracy…but at the same time you argue that the “public” property belong to all the people so in fact the government seems to represent some kind of a board of directors of a large public limited company. But if that’s true how can you support a monarchy? If the state is just a company you should support democracy (voting of all company’s owners)! So this theory seems to be inconsistent. According to my view the state is just a mafia who occupies a vast land which fragments (parcel) rightfully belongs to other individuals. It means that the particular roads, squares, parks and sidewalks should belong to individuals (and sometimes communities) who live nearby and/or paid more taxes on this particular “public” property. In this situations some roads would belong to people who like immigrants, some roads to people who hate them and some to those who just want money to let them go through. And there’s no way for the state to predict it however taking in consideration that the market economy always leads to a solution that is optimal and satisfies most of the market players we can rather foresee that people would rather be willing to create their own private toll roads going through their private property just to make money and satisfies the demand for free movement. So the migration in anarcho-capitalist society would be much more common and freer than right now as I can’t imagine e.g. such ha vast area as the current USA to be completely sealed by private property owners…
